A Great Weekend and a Birdcage!

First of all what a great weekend!

I have been working on my 30 year reunion for pretty much a year
and it truly was the best
reunion EVER!

Ask anybody!
We had so many people show up and it was a blast!

If fact everybody said I should start my own party planning business........

Ha, I couldn't handle the stress!!

I have over 100 photos and I thought today
I would show you all of them......
And explain who each person is!
Now doesn't that sound like a rip roaring time!!

**insert cricket noise here**

HA I kid!!

Back to what we're all here for!!

See that birdcage, back over there among all my other junk....

One of my Good Will finds.
It's wicker, and it was tan.

It took about a million cans of spray paint to get all the edges.

I took a piece of cardboard, some sheet music
and joined the
MOD PODGE PARTY!!

CUTE!!!!!

I added some treasures to it.......

I made one of those them there cloche
things everybody is always makin.....
Except mine is in a birdcage,
without the glass dome thing.
Sooooo,
really, it's not really
one of them cloche things......

How do you say that word anyway??

OH AND GUESS WHAT..........

It's about time my pretties showed their faces!!!!

SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!

  12. Love, love, love the pink peonies. And your birdcage-cloche turned out great, Jane! By the way, over years of trial and error, I've discovered that short, gentle sprays, in a back & forth sweeping motion, tend to cover surfaces like your cage, without creating too much overspray and wasting paint. The other option is painting with a brush...NOT! ;)

Thanks for linking your creation to the party. I love seeing your latest projects.

    Blessings,

  18. Hi Jane, thanks for popping by my blog :) I'll see what I can do about those sinks wink wink! Love your pink peony's, mine are white with a pink vein in them and they fell before I could enjoy them this year. Sad. :( But I'll enjoy yours this time! Lovely!

  19. Hi Jane!
What an adorable birdcage cloche thingy HA! I love your sense of humor!
I painted a wicker chair once and was astonished at how many cans of spray paint it took!
love your peonies!! - Mine popped last week and as always that means a thunderboomer arrives and knocks them to the ground . . . it did and they did :-(
Anywho - I enjoyed your post and will be back again soon!!
