Little White Shelf

A few weeks ago my sister and I went to our favorite little antique shop.
It's a long drive so we don't go there too often.

Sister Dear found this little shelf and wanted it white!

It was pretty shabbed up on it's own.
but not white!

I was going to start it in the house,
winter here ya know......

Then the Safety First light bulb went off......

spray paint in the house + a closed house +
gas heater clicking on an off
= a big boom!!

So I braved the cold for my sister!

Got it all painted pretty,

then I trashed it!!

Ya know,
 this turned out kinda cute.......

Think she'd notice if she never got it back.........

  4. How cute is that?! I love driving distances to go to fun antique stores. There are apparently more in Colorado, than I realized. Your sister found a good one! Looks great, Jane!

  12. That shelf turned out so cute and shabby! :-) Good call on not inhaling paint fumes in the house. I am chomping at the bit to get some paint projects done, but Ohio weather is not cooperating. At this rate, it will be summer by the time I can get outside. LOL

  14. I have the stupidest question as I am not that handy. How do you hang a dang shelf? I have gorgeous shelves like yours sitting in the closet. How lame and I?
