So when my sister saw the blog about
Grandma's recipe cards and what I did with them
she had a fit.
She had forgot I had them and wanted some for her kitchen too!
I guess I have to share.......I mean it is her Gram too
and
she was going to tell Mom!
Big, fat, tattle tail, baby!!
Here is my sister's cabinet before........
As I have mentioned in past blogs my sister has a consignment store!
As you can see her stuff is awesome!
As you can see her stuff is awesome!
Not only that,
she has a real house!
By that I mean,
way more than 800 sq ft,
not like my little, tiny, 1929 farm house.
She has so much fun stuff!
Actually she is kind of on the edge of her own
hoarding show on A & E!!
I kid......
So this is what I did.........
Just hung some string in the back of the top shelf.
Here's the other shelves I re-did for her!
See my sister tricks me........
She calls me and says come over for dinner!
Then when I get there
she has everything emptied out of a cupboard,
her kitchen, living room.......
And she wants to re-arrange everything!!
She said something about coming over next weekend for lunch.......
Ummmm something tells me these going to be
a whole lot of
bunny stuff around waiting
to be put somewhere.......
girl, share with a local? where's her store? i'm always on the hunt. great post too btw. lol xx
ReplyDeleteGreat little redo to the cabinet, Jane! Love what you did with your grandma's recipe cards!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you and your sister have a great time together. :)
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Jane ~ Your sister recognizes that you have the gift of putting together great vignettes ... thus all the invites! Great redo!
ReplyDeleteI so wish I had a sister to share in my thrifting and decorating. It sounds like you have a special relationship with her!
ReplyDeleteHaha a fun sister to have. i would love to do cabinets full of treasures as hers is. :) Like she is paying you for having lunch with fun right? :)
ReplyDeleteYes my rug is from IKEA.Good spotted.I like my rugs simple and not overwhelming my treasures in fab patterns and colors.
And I have seekes out antroplogy already. A lot of fantastic stuff, but to colorful for me. But thats good, one temptation less right. Shure is loooong between thoose.
Our house is not large either. But 800 seems like a bit to much house to clean for me. Perhaps your little on is just fine in the end. Better spending the money on bits and bobs than a housemaid right?:D
Thanks for becoming a follower.I appreciate it.
I will soon hos a give away and it will be open for all not just Norway, so stop by.
Lots of hugs.
Lineca
