I love this stuff!!

I first happened on this stuff from the

And now I'm addicted!
Remember last summer my sister and I got all
these frames in Walnut Iowa.

They are kinda beat up!

To the non junker they see fire wood....

I / we junkers see beyond...........

This once was really pretty!
 I love all the molding......

But as you can see it's coming off

So I decided to spray paint it really thick to hold the molding on!

Get out the way chickens or your gonna be white!

Once it dried.....
It was really WHITE.....
That's when I remembered the rub stuff......

Hobby Lobby didn't have it and neither did Michael's!
Finally found it at Jo Ann's Fabrics!

I used an old Bounce sheet to rub it on!

Don't want to mess the nails!

Look at that thing of beauty.......

And that's why I love this stuff!!!

  1. Jane, did you go to Walnut Iowa for the flea market? My parents go every year. :) I love the picture frames you picked up and the rub and buff transformation.

  3. I've always wanted to try RubnBuff but so far I haven't. What a great idea to use an old dryer sheet, I'll have to remember that one! Your frame looks lovely:)

    Popped over from White Wednesday:)

  14. Rub N' Buff is rocking! I've used it before in the patina color, which I LOVE, btw!!! If you like the bluey/green aqua color it's a great one for the nooks and crannies when trying to get the aged look a piece would have when exposed to sea air. I had been very curious how the Antique Gold color actually looked. Thank you for sharing. I'm not scared to buy it now. =0)

  18. Yep; 'tis true! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We junkers see the potential for beauty in what others consider trash. Thank goodness! Trash is so much cheaper! lol

Thanks for linking to the party again, Jane. I'm looking forward to seeing you this week, as well.
